List of Jalkars and Classification :- (i) Block wise list of all Jalkars under Fisheries Directorate shall be compiled in the District Fisheries Office in which Panchayatwise, village-wise, name of Jalkars, Khatiyani area, watershed area, production and reserve deposits are mentioned. (ii) On the basis of water-shed area and production capacity of Jalkars, classification of Jalkars in three categories – Fine, medium and low-shall be made by District Fisheries Officer.
