Amendment in Section - 47 of the Act VI, 1935. – sub-section (2) of Section - 47 of the said Act shall be substituted by the following, namely:- “(2) Every offence under this Act, except the offence under sub-section (1) (c) of Section - 45 shall, for the purpose of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) be deemed to be a cognizable offence.”
