Attachment of property.--(1) Where the Registrar is satisfied on the application of the liquidator or of a society that any person with intent to defeat or delay the execution of any order that may be passed against him under section 44 or 48. (a) is about to dispose of the whole or any part of his property, or (b) is about to remove the whole or any part of his property from the local limits of the jurisdiction of the Registrar, the Registrar may, unless adequate security is furnished to his satisfaction, direct the attachment of the said property or such part thereof, as he thinks, necessary, any such attachment shall have the same effect as if it had been made by a competent Court. (2) An order of attachment passed under sub-section (1) shall, on the application of the Registrar, be executed by the Collector in whose jurisdiction the property lies, in the same manner as an order of a Revenue Court.
