Application of proceeds of sales - (1) From the proceeds of the sale the officer executing the warrant shall make a deduction at the rate of one anna in the rupee, on account of the cost of sale and shall transmit the amount so deducted to the Deputy Commissioner, in order that it may be credited to the [State] Government. (2) The said officer shall deal with the rest of the proceeds in the prescribed manner.
