Production of documents by defendant - If the defendant relies on any document in support of his defence, he shall produce it before the Deputy Commissioner at the first hearing of the suit; and if such document is not so produced it shall not afterwards be admitted, unless the Deputy Commissioner for sufficient reasons to be recorded in writing, thinks fit to admit it.
