Division of assets and liabilities - Liabilities of the existing Universities relating to Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Livestock, Poultry, Dairy, Fisheries etc.- Any asset of existing Universities, immediately before the commencement of this Act, related to Veterinary Science, Animal Sciences, Dairy, Fisheries, including the agricultural land used for fodder production, feed production shall stand transferred to and vested in the University. Explanation - For the purposes of this section, “asset” shall be deemed to include all property movable and immovable, rights, powers, authorities and privileges, and all other rights and interests arising out of such property, as were immediately before the commencement of this Act, namely ownership, possession, power or control of existing University / Govt. department and all books of accounts, registers, records.
