(1) Application for assignment of the land under these rules shall be made to the assigning authority in the form given in Appendix IV to these rules. (2) The application, under sub-rule (1) shall bear a court fee stamp of the value of 75p provided that applications from persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes shall be exempt from the stamp duty.
