Subject to other provisions of this Act, the provisions of section 34, Chapter III, Chapter IV, Chapter V, Chapter V-A, section 149 and Chapter XXIII of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 shall, so far as may be, apply for the purposes of this Act as they apply for the purpose of the said Code.
