(I) The administration and control of the Village Defence Organisation in the State shall be vested in Chief Controller . He may be advised by an Honorary Chief Adviser appointed by the Government. . (2) The T hana Village Defence Officer, the Sub- divisional Village Pcfence Office r an d the District Village Defence O fficer shall be under the control at the Su bdivisional Village Defence O fficer, the District Village Defence Officer or the C hief Controller respec- tively, as the case may be. They may be assisted by such advisers and b y such Advisor y Committees, if any, as may be appointed by the State G overnment. (3) T he Primary Committees shall be under the control and administra tion of th e Thana V illage D efence Officer concerned. Advisory
