In the principal Act, in section 21, in sub-section (1), for the punctuation mark "." occurring at the end of the last proviso, the punctuation mark ":" shall be substituted and thereafter, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided also that every dealer liable to pay tax or registered or required to be registered under the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 shall be required to apply for registration under this Act.".
