(1) The Board shall provide supply of water pi;~} !!fet;.throughout the urban area for domestic, commercial, industrial, recreational and other private or public purposes in accordance with such public health standards as may be prescribed, and the Board may regulate · the hours, quantity and pressure of such supply . . (2) The supply of water under sub-section (1) ·shall include supply, free of charge, of water for demestic purposes through public stand-posts for which the Board may erect such stand posts at such convenient places as it may consider necessary.
