.(2) in subsection (2), the words “in consultation With the Council” occuring between the words “State Government” and “shall”, shall be deleted. (3‘) after sub-section (2), the following shall be inserted as sub-section (3), namely :— “(3) All rules made under this section shall be laid for not less than fourteen days before the Assam Legislative Assembly as soon as possible, after they are made and shall be subject to such modification as the Legislative Assembly may make during the session in which they are so laid or the session imme- diately following.” Amendment '
