In section 5 of the principal Act— (1) In sub-section (1) the figure “ 20” shall be substituted by the figure “ 12”. (2) In sub-section (3) the figure “ 20” and the words “ this Act” shall be substituted by the figure “ 12” and the words “ the Assam (Temporary-Settled Districts) Tenancy (Amendment) Act, 1953” respec tively.
