(1) This Act may be called the Assam (Temporarily Settled Districts) Tenancy (Amend ment) Act, 1942. (2) It shall come into force at once. (3) It shall have the like extent as the Assam Assam (.Temporarily Settled Districts) Tenancy Act, 11 ° 93 ' 1935, hereinafter referred to as the said Act.
