AN ACT· further to amend the Assam Taxation. (On Specified Lands) Act, Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Taxation (On Specified Lands) Act, 1990, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Sixtieth Year of Republic of India . as follows:- l. (1) This Act riiay be called the Assam Taxation (On Specified Lands) · ·(Second Amendmelit) Act; 2009. (2) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act. (3) It sha.ll·come. into force on the first day of January~ 2010.
