(1) The Assam Taxation (On Luxuries) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2000 is hereby repealed. Assam Ordinance I or 2000. 744 THE ASSAM GAZETIE, EXTRAORDINARY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2000 (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this c.t, as if this Act had come into force on the ate the said Ordinance came into force.
