(1) The Government shall cause the annual report to be laid under the State Legislative Assembly along with a memorandum of action taken or proposed to be taken on the recommendations of the Commission and the reasons for the non- acceptance of the recommendations, if any, After receipt of the audit report of the Cornmission, the Government shall take necessary steps to lay the audit report before the Assam Legislative Assembly.
