In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant to the subject or context,- (a) "Speaker" and "Deputy Speaker" means the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly; (b) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act. Salaries of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker.
