(1) The Executive Council may, in cases where the Chief Executive Councilor is required to take in accordance with the provisions of this Acl or the rules made thereunder or any other law for the time being in force, any action subject to the approval of the EJ<.ecutive Council by a general or special resolution, authorize the Chief Executive Councilor to take such action subject to such condition, if any, as may be specified therein, in anticipation of such approval. (2) Whenever the Chief Exe1.:utive Councilor takes any action under sub~section (1) above, he shall inform the Executive Council forthwith and shall obtain the approval thereof.
