A member of the Executive Council shall hold office until he - (a) ceases to be a member of t.tte General Council, or (b) resigns his office in writing under his hand addressed to the Chief Executive Councilor in which case the resignation shall take effect from the date of acceptance thereof. Provided that in case of the Chief Executive Councilor, the resignation shall be addressed to any one of the Executive Councilors.
