The Authority shall subject to rules framed etc., and to nuder this Act have powers to- takc legal advice. (a) institute. defend or withdraw from legal pro- ceeding~ under this Act ; (b) compound any offence under this Act before the matter is referred to the court ; (c) admit, compromise, or withdraw any claim made under this Act ; and (d) obtain such legal advice and assistance as it may, from time to time, think necessary or expedient to obtain for any of the purposes, referred to in the foregoing clauses of this Section for securing the lawful exercise or . discharge of any power or duty vested in or imposed upon the Authority or any officer or servant of the Authority. 102 Bar to suits
