In sub-section (2) of Section 6 of the Sectio~ 6 of principal Act the words "within a period of Assam Act '4:5 days from the date on which this Act XII of 1975.comes into force put back the debtor in posses- sion of the land" occurring aHer the word "shall" be substituted by the words "H demanded by the debtor before the expiry of 5 years or on expiry of 5 years from the date on which the debt was incurred, put back the debtor in possession of the land within a period of 30 days from the date of demand or expiry of 5 years as the case may be."
