Whereas it is expedient to establish a Private University under the name and style "The Assam Royal Global University" under section 6 of the Assam Private Universities Act,2007 and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. It is hereby enacted in the Sixty- fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- L. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Royal Global University Act,2013. (2) It extends to the whole of Assam, (3) It shall come into force at once, !. (1) For furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of, higher education and research, there shall be established a Private University under the name and style 'The Assam Royal Global University" in the State of Assam. (2) The details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and infrastructure of the said University are mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Act.
