For the sebedole to the Assam RiBee Act, 1920, the following schedule <;ball be substituted. namely:-. THE SCHEDULE SuTEXmT. ( &e &ectiom 3 an_d 4. ) After you have served iClr four years in the first instance wruch, with the permission of the Commandant may he extended to seven years and, on tb3 expiry o£ seven years, to ten years, yoa may, nt any time when not on active service, apply for your discharge, through the officer to whom you may be subordinate, to a Command- ant of the Assam Rifles, or to the Magistrate of the District in which you may be serving. If however you agree and are permitted to continue to serve on the expiry of four ;ream or seven years, you will not be permitted to resign until you ho.ve completed seven years and ten years, respectively.
