Definitions.- In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in'""the· subject or context- (a) "Owner" includes where the person in possession of the vehicle is a minor, the guardian of such minor, and in relation to a vehicle which is the subject of a hire purchase agreement the person in possession of the vehicle under that agreement ; (b) "Prescribed" means prescribed by the rules made under this Act. (c) "State Government" means the Government of Assam.
