Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (i) the conferment of honorary Degrees; (ii) the institution of Fellowships, Scholarship, Exhibitions and Prizes,; (iii) the terms of office, the method of appointment and the conditions of service of the officers of file University; (iv) the designation and the powers of the officers of the University; (v) the constitution, powers and duties of the authorities of the University; (vi) the Institution of off-campus and Hostels and their maintenance; (vii) the constitution of Pension, Insurance and Provident Funds for the benefit of the officers, Teachers, Staffs and other Servants of the University; (viii) the maintenance of a register of registered passed out students,; and _____ THE ASSAM GAZETTE.
