(a) The Director of Archives shall have the power to lay down norms and standards for courses, curricula, assessment and examinations relating to the training in archival science and other ancillary subjects. (b) The Director shall supervise and inspect 'Mahapez Khana of District/Sub-Division Head quarters and take necessary steps for proper preservation.
