The State Government may, by notification ~ent of · ;n t.he official Gazettie :- Es t~te ()fficers. ~· (a) ·appoint such persons, · being Gazetted Officers of Government, as it thinks fit . to .9e estate offio~rs for the purposes of this Act, and 1 · . · . (b) ·aefine the Jocal lim:t.s within which, or the cat1egories of oub~ic premises in respect of which, each estat!e officer shall 'exerc:se the ·powers conferred, ' and performed the duties imposed, on estate officers by or under this Act.
