(l)Thc Academic Council shall consist of the Vice-Chancellor and such other members as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) Thc Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Academic Council. (3) I'hc Academic Council shall be the principal academic body ol the university and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules, Statutes or Ordinances, made thereunder, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies ol the university. (4) The quorum for meetings of the Academic Council shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
