(1) ~ave as pr~vi~ed in su~~section (2), no person released from prison on the expiration of a sentence of imprisonment or on parole shall be disqualified or discriminated against on grounds of his having been detained in P.rison, in the matt~r of employment under the State Government or any undertaking owned or controlled, wholly or partly, by the State Government or any privat~ employer.
