Search in Recei ving Ce ntres and ce rtified insti tutions. ( I) The Superi ntendent of a Receiving Centre or a cer tified institution may order that a ny pe rso n received in the Receiving Centre or ce rt ified institution shall be searched, that he shall be cleansed, that his per sonal effects shall be inspected, and that any mon ey or valuables fou nd with or on the person shall be kept in the cu stody of such Supcriutcndcnt, a nd thaI any effects other than mo ney or valuables so found shall be disposed of in the prescribed manner. Where an order of detention is passed by the court against any such person, the Superin tendent may order th at any money or valuables found with or on the person sh .1/ be disposed of in the prescri bed manner: • (2) When the court passes an o rder of discharge, his money and val uables shal l be returned to him, and if his clothina has been dest rov- ed , he shall he provided with fr esh clothing. - .
