As head of the State Police Force, it shall be the responsibility of the Director General of Police of the State to,- (a) make operational the Government policies and any action plans approved by the State Government; and (b) administer, control and supervise the Police Force to ensure its efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness and accountability.
