It shall be lawful for the Director General of Police or any Additional Director General of Police or Inspector General of Police or Deputy Inspector General of Police, or for the District Superintendent of Police, subject to the general direction of the Magistrate of the district, on the applications of any person showing the necessity thereof, to depute any additional number of police-officers to keep the peace at any place within the general police-district and for such time as shall be deemed proper. Ranks structures in Civil Police The service shall have such ranks and post as may be prescribed or as may be notified by the State Government . The recruitment, training , posting, deputation , promotion, code of conduct, discipline, punishment and appeal and to other service conditions of various ranks of service shall be as per rules.
