(1) The Zilla Parishad shall consists of: — (i) the members directly constituencies of the district : elected from the territorial ’ Provided that Government may by notification in the Official Gazette determine the territorial constituencies in the district keeping in view the overall population of the district at a rate of one member for a population net less than 40 thousand and that each territorial constituency shall elect one member to the Zilla Parishad through direct election in the manner prescribed ; (ii) the Presidents of the Anchalik Panchayats; (iii) the Members of the House of People and the Members of the State Legislative Assembly representing a s part or whole of the district whose constituencies lie within the district. (2) All the members shall have the right to vote. Reservation of seats for Scheduled ; Caste and Sc heduled Tri- bes.
