Am endm ent o f Section 3 o f the Principal A ct.—For clause (d) of Section 3 of the Principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely :— “ (</) ‘Permanent structure’ means a structure made of cement-con crete, stone, brick, iron, aluminium, asbestos or wood or any combination of these materials: Provided that a building with bamboo or Ikra walls and thatched roof shall also be regarded as a permanent structure, if its frame is constructed of any of the materials mentioned above ®.
