(1) Any person who contravenes any provision of this Act shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both. (2) An attempt to commit a breach of any provision of this Act and any abetment of such breach shall be punish- able as if such act were a contravention of the provisions of this Act.
