(1) There shall be an Academic Planning Board consisting of the following :- (i) the Vice-Chancellor; (ii) ten members who shall be academic persons to be nominated by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor. (2) All the members of the Board, other than the Vice- Chancellor, shall hold officer for term of three years. (3) The Board may design and formulate appropriate plans for development and expansion of the University and it may, in addition, advise the Executive Council and the Academic Council on any matter which it may deem necessary for the fulfillment of the objects of the University. (4) The Board may constitute such committee as may be necessary for planning and monitoring the programmes of the University.
