(1) The management and administration of the Academy shall vest in the Board. (2)The Board shall consist of- (a) President of the Law School Chairperson (b) Two Judges of the Gauhati High Court Member sitting or retired, nominated by the Chairperson; (c) Director General of the Law School Member (d) Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, (e) Registrar General , Gauhati High Court (f) Secretary to the Government of Assam Finance Department (g) Secretary to the Government of Assam Judicial Department; (h) A District & Sessions Judge nominated by the Chairperson; and (i) Director of the Academy Member Member Member Member Member Member- Secretary (3) The existence of a vacancy in the Board shall not invalidate an act or proceedings of the Board.
