In section 235 of the principal Act— (zj in sub-section (1) for the words “the Board at a . - . . ... 1 z-. . M « 1 1 Assam Aci meeting” the words “the Provincial Government” I of 1923. be substituted, (it) for sub-section (2) the following shall be substi tuted, namely :— “ (2) The Provincial Government may refuse to give such permission— (a) if they are of opinion that the establishment of such factory or workshop in the proposed site (i) would be objectionable by reason of the density of the population in the neigh bourhood thereof, or (z'z) would be a nuisance to the inhabitants of the neighbourhood, or (b) for any other sufficient reason”, and (iii) in the marginal heading, for the word “ Board ” the words “ Provincial Government ” shall be substituted.
