{ 1) Any member of the Village Council may, at any time by giving notice in writing addrssed to the President resign his office : Provided that in case of the President the notice shall be addressed to the Vice President. (2) Such resignation shall take effect from such date as specified in the notice or if no such date is specified from the date of its receipt of the office bearer addressed.
