Unregistered person not to hold certain appointments. Except with the special sanction of the State Government no person other than a registered practitioner shall be competent to hold any appointment as Medical Officer of health or as physician, surgeon or other medtcal oflicer in any hospital, asylum, infirmary, dispensary or lying-in-hospital which is supported partially or entirely by public or local funds.
