(l) There shall be a StudenB' Advisory Council which shall consist of the following members, namely:- (i) (ii) The DeAn Students' Welfarc as thc Chairman; the Dirtctor/Deputy Director of Students' Welfarc as Ex-officio Treasureq President and Secretary of the University Teachers' Assor: iation : President, Vice-President and Secretary of the University Students' Union; Prinr:ipals of the Constituent College, if any; one student from each teaching faculty of the Univcrsity to be elccted as prescribcd by the Statutes; five students, one fi'om each of the five activities mentioned below who have shown outstanding pcrformances in the following octivitjes, to bc nominated by the Vice{.hancellor, namely:- (a) Sports; (b) National Service Schemes; (o) National Cadet Corps; (d) Cultural activities (e) Speciaily abled; four female students to be nominated by the Vice- Chancellor; thi Director of Sports and Physical Education, if aDy; the rnembers of tlre Students' Advisory Council shall elect from amongst tlremselves flre Secretuy of the Council; two .mcmbers ( one female) from MadhaMev College/ Madhabdev University Alumni (to be nominated by the Vice Chancellor) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) (vii) (viii) (ix) (x) (xi) (2) The tenn of the nrembers of the Students' Advisory Council other than ex-officio nrcmbers shall be one year. The quorum to constitute a meeting of Studentsl Advisory Council the rules ofprocodures and conduct ofbusincss to be foltowed d a meoting, rhe period within which a meeting shall be called and such other matter shall be prcscribed by the Statutes: Provided that no student shall be eligible to be or continub to be a member of the Students Advisory Council unlsss he is eiuolled as a student or after he anains the age of twcnty five years, A student member shall cease !o be such membcr if he fails to Flass at the ncxt Univorsity Examination' The functions of tlre Students' Advisory Council shall be as foltows, namely:- ' to make recommendation$ to the Executive Council and the Acadomic Council in the mattqrs affecting the students corporate life of the Universiiy in so far as it conserns thc students and their co-curricular activhies; (3) --t Rrnctions of Students' Advisory Cormcil.
