In section 2 of the principal Act in sub-section of Assam Act (3), for the explanation, the following shall be substi- I of 1953. tuted, namely:— “Explanation.—Ta ri in an unfermented stage and liquor containing 5 per cent alcohol are exempted from the operation of this Act.” Am endm ent
