(1) This Act may be called the Assam ~e~ce~~~: Legislative Assembly Members' Salaries and Allowan- ces (Amendment) Act, 1979. Amendment of Section 3 of Assam Act XIV of 1958. Amendment of Section 4 of Assam Act XIV of 1958. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of April, 1978.
