Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained in this Regulation, the State Government may adopt such measures as it deems fit for the protection of land belonging to the Religious Institutions which have been in existence for not less than one hundred years. Explanation : " Religious Institution" means an institution, the primary purpose of which relates exclusively to religious teaching or worship or advancement of religion irrespecti\'e of denomination.
