In the principal Act. after section 164 A, ^Re" the following section shall be inserted, namely guiadon—i "164 B. Penalty for transfer.------- ----------- of 1886. If anv transfer of land is effected in con travention of the provisions of this Chapter, both the transferor and the transferee shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both”.
