(1) The Executive Council may, in cases where the Chief Executive Councillor is required to take, in accor- dance with the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder or any other law for the time being in force, any action subject to the approval of the Executive· Council, by a general or special resolution, authorises the Chief Executive Councillor to take such action subject to such condition, if any, as may be specified therein, in anticipation of such approval. (2) Whenever the Chief Executive Councillor takes any action under sub-section (1) above, he shall inform the Executive Council forthwith and shall obtain the approval thereof.
