In this Act, unless the context otherwise rc- <l u 1 res - (n) 'bye-law' means tile bye-law framed by the Gc11e1<1l Council; t ( t TH.E ASSAM GAZE1TE, EXTRAORDJNARY. OCT. 30 1995 1579 (b) 'Constituency' means a constituency referred to in section 48; (c) 'Constitution' means, the Constitution of India; (d) 'Council Area' means the Lalung Autonomous Council Area ; (e) 'Elector' in relation to a constituency means a per- son whose name is entered in the electoral roll of that con- stituency ; (f) 'E xecutive Cou11cil' means the executive body or the Ceneral Council of the Lalung Autonomous Council constituted under Section 3(3) and 24 ; (g) 'Gaon Panchayat', 'Anchalik Panchayat' and 'Zila Parishad' have the same meaning as defined in the Assam Pnnchayat Act, 1994; (11) 'General Council' means the General Council of the Lal ung Auto nomous Council referred to in section 3 ; (i) 'General Council Fund' and 'Village Council Fund' means the fu nds constituted under section 61 ; (j) 'Government' means the State Government of Assam; (k) 'Governor' rne~u:s the Clovcrnor of Assam; (!)
