Subject to the provisions of this Act, the S&tutes may provide for all or any of the following matters, nnnely:- (i) introduction ofChaic (ii) (iii) (iV) the conferment of honorary Degrees; the Institution of Fellowships, SQhOl8nhip, Exhibition and Prizes; the terms of office, the method of appointment and the conditions of service of the officers of the University; (V) (Vi) (vii) (viii) the designation and the powers of the offic us of the University; the constitution, powers and duties of the autbodtin - of the University; the establishment ofHostels and their maintenance; the constitution of Pensims, Insurance and Provident Funds for the tnnefit of the officers, twchas, clerical and other stafE (iX) (X) the maintenance of a register of registered graduates; and All matters, which by this Act, are to be or may be presctn>ed by the Staaltes.
