(1) Nothing contained in this Act shall effect the right or properties vested in Gaon Panchayat, Municipality or Municipal Corporation under any law for the time being in force. (2) Nothing contained in this Act, shall apply to the Minor Water Bodies in the Scheduled areas in the State of Assam. Power to make rules.
